When u receive a package, it does triggers some suspicions, unless it’s been planned and u’ve been anticipating it. In high school, we’ve been taught how to do the black box experiment - Shaking, jerking, whanking, listening, smelling, wat’s inside the mysterious box.

So it’s time u take a wild guess on this before scrolling down further, try.. it’s good practice.

I knew u didn’t even tried guessing. Well hell ya~ this is down my lane as the 1st gift i’ve actually won from anything.

In real fact, i didn’t knew there was this competition. Well not 1 tat i was aware of, till 1 morning i walk in the office and YowChuan yelled at me saying:

“shuffle, shuffle, Jian u won a shuffle!”

WTF, i kinda ignore him and tot he was talking cock but now i feel so guilty for doing tat. U won’t mind la ya bro~

And there’s a blue round sticker on the casing of Shuffly spoiling the whole look & feel of it. A good courtesy from Exabytes it is, the web hosting company tat i’ve signed up to run this blog. They are having this monthly winner thing for lucky subscribers, and i really did get lucky. Pls bear with me, it’s my 1st time winning something.

Lisa, the assistance customer service manager was great at responding to my anxious receiving of this. She patiently bear with me and got it sent to me even b4 i anticipated it - this is surprisingly good customer support!

Hosting wise, there’s no much problem til date, only 1 hiccup, when my house’s streamyx dynamic IP got a banned IP and can’t access - a quick call to customer service identified this and solve it with a restart of modem.

Speaking of this, I suddenly recall tat all this happen could be due to the reason of my domain name registration those days. Some one from Exabytes contacted me to have my credit card and IC faxed to them for verification purpose, reason? Cuz they suspect KuKuJian as a spam and porno domain name - use to do those porn site on penis or etc like those.

It did cause some delay but eventually it got sorted out and registered. They must have felt guilty for this and gave this gift as a token of apology appreciation.

And it’s orange - sweet~! It’s like they know me, they understand me.. Shuffle being an iPod, there are many reviews out there mentioning on the drop of sound quality in the 2G shuffle, they are the pros and give good reviews so i’m not gonna bitch about it. No where near being an audiophile, as long as it’s decent it will turn me on.

I got myself stucked being a loser in listening to it - the normal drag drop to the player didn’t work and soon found out iTunes is required to get Shuffly playing. A 30MB++ download got me really knocked out waiting in the wee hours - yet, i so wanted to listen it out just b4 i hit the bed.

Finally i did, with Bon Jovi’s Make A Memory taking away Shuffly’s virginity.

And so there’s a lil’ orangey shuffly in my pocket now, who wants to dig in and feel wat’s in my pocket? U might find more than a shuffle though..
